Making Money With The ClickPerks Website

To answer the question about making money with ClickPerks, we’re going to step through the website and see what it has to offer.

Are You Ready To Work Your Ass Off to Earn Your Lifestyle?

Are you tired of the daily grind? With a laptop and an internet connection I built a small website to generate income, and my life completely changed. Let me show you exactly how I’ve been doing it for more than 13 years.

My first impression of the page was pretty positive. The graphics were nice, and I appreciated how informative the landing page was. As you can see, they layout kind of a step-by-step process to how it works right on the front of the home page. Here are the steps.

Earn points by shopping online, taking surveys, reading emails, or searching the web

Redeem your points for rewards, which can include cash, gift cards, electronics, or even other options

Refer friends to receive even more points

And that was pretty much it. That, apparently, is how this site functions. Make Money ClickPerks

I scrolled down a bit and was instantly presented with a page that showed me what types of gift cards were available through the site. Gift cards to businesses like Hot Topic, BabyGap, Dell, The Home Depot, Red Robin, Amazon, and more were all possible options.

Amazon.com seemed to be the ‘default’ option unless you changed it. But this was alright with me.

I also found that you needed points to purchase these gift cards. However, as of yet, I was not sure how much ‘work’ you had to do to earn these points. So that was an important detail that I would need to discover before I could learn whether the site was worthwhile or not.

I have heard that ClickPerks is a pretty good site for making cash on the side. In fact, in some lists I’ve looked it, it is ranked as one of the top 25 money-making sites on the internet.

But can ClickPerks actually make you enough extra side-cash to make them worth the time, or is this another website that will just earn you a few dollars here and there?

I decided to look it over and give it a try. Here is what you need to know.

Getting Started With ClickPerks.com

So first-things-first, I took a look around the site to see what else I could learn about it. Toward the bottom of the landing page, in the footer, I found links to the site’s social media pages. I also found their address. As it turns out, this company is based out of New York, New York… which is pretty cool.

There were an About Us tab located along with the top and bottom tab menus, so that was what I checked out first. Here is a quote from the company that was located there. The company that administrates this website is called ‘React2Media.’

“React2Media is a leading full-service Interactive Boutique Agency offering a complete suite of interactive marketing opportunities. Our clients are top-tier media agencies, direct advertisers, and savvy publishers who are all moving online.”

It has been a long time since I have heard the word ‘boutique’ used in conjunction with media, marketing, or market research data… but hey… the point is to get people interested, right? Well, at this point, I was definitely interested!

Beyond this, there wasn’t really much to be seen in the ‘About Us’ page. So next, I clicked on the ‘How It Works’ tab, and was quickly taken to a page where I was told to log in.

How It Works ClickPerks

You need to have already created an account to login this way, but you can register by using the so-named button located along the top of the page tab bar. I figured that registering was the next logical step in learning more about the site, so that’s what I did next.

I do not like long, detailed registration processes. I like them to be clean, fast, and neat. So I was interested in finding out exactly what I could expect from this part of the process.

Registering For ClickPerks

Registering for the site, at first, just consisted of me giving them some basic information about myself. I needed to give my email address, my physical address, my phone number, my age, etc. I also had to create a password.

After filling all of this out, I was taken to a page where I was given the option to sign up for some different offers. None of them really looked appealing to me though, so I skipped this part.

Next, I came to another page of offers… but this one really got my attention. Here is why.

ClickPerks Offers

So here, you can see that it told me to ‘complete at least 3 offers.’ It makes it sound like this is a requirement to join the site. But it also tells you that you will earn points for it.

Next, I scrolled all the way down, and eventually came to the bottom… where I was told that I could actually skip this entire section.

I have seen these types of things before. And yes, I do understand that ClickPerks is an offer site and that they need you to sign up for offers to make the process work.

But I also HATE feeling mislead by sites like this… and that is how I felt about this offer. Plus, the points that were being offered here were really small.

I was being offered 0.06 ClickPerks Points, 1.56 ClickPerks Points… and more, all the way up to almost 33 ClickPerks Points, to sign up for the different sites being advertised here.

If you sign up for all of them, you could certainly make some pretty decent cash… but as for exactly how much cash, that was what I needed to figure out next.

Adding up all of these offers together, I figured that I could earn somewhere around 115 points if I signed up for all of them. But this would be pretty time-consuming. So I was very curious to see exactly how much money 115 points would be worth.

At any rate, skipping this and a few other offers brought me to the main hub.

ClickPerks Main Hub

Now, as you will see, the main hub does a pretty good job of letting you know how close you are to earning whatever reward you have chosen. As you can see, the default seems to be an Amazon gift card… but you can also change that to suit your needs.

I, as of this point, had not completed any offers, so I did not have any points. But, it looked like 250 points would equal 1 $25 Amazon gift card. So, basically, it looks like each point is equal to 10 cents. I kind of like this. Usually, the points are worth a lot less than this.

But it still made me realize that ClickPoints doesn’t pay out a huge amount for offers. Signing up for some of those sites would have taken quite a bit of time… and while some of them paid out better than others, I still found myself hard-pressed to believe that the effort was going to be worth the time with this one.

But, I decided to look around a bit more to see if there were any other types of offers that I could look at.

Here is what I found.

Taking A Closer Look At The Inside Of ClickPerks

I clicked on the Earn Points tab and was taken to a page full of offers. These were separated into the following categories: Free offers, free surveys, live surveys, top surveys, top offers, videos, and Blue Dolphin Magazines.

So there were a lot of different ways to earn points.

But, I will also say that I was a bit disappointed with exactly how many points they paid out for such offers. Much like those offered in the sign-up process, these offers didn’t pay out much more than $1, and would certainly have taken some time to complete.

In the end, I felt like I had acquired enough information to formulate my official opinion… and here it goes.

My Personal Feelings About The ClickPerks Website

This was actually a pretty awesome offers site. It is legitimate, it pays out pretty decently, it will make you some extra money if you are interested in completing offers and earning some extra cash, and it will give you the ability to continue to earn extra cash as long as you wish to continue completing offers.

But does it pay enough money, for the time spent on it, to count as a legitimate side-hustle?

I’m afraid not. It is admittedly above average, but I am afraid that I can’t make enough money here, for the time, to justify spending a great deal of energy on it.

My time is quite valuable because time is money—in every sense of the word. And while this site is a fun site, I am afraid that I cannot make enough here to justify using my very limited side-hustle time on it. So I will likely not be returning.

Honestly, the same is true for most survey sites out there, like Springboard America, Directive Analytics, Nicequest, and HCDSurveys.
