Can You Really Make Money With The WHAFF Rewards App?

is wealthy affiliate a scam or can i actually make a six figure income online as an affiliate marketer

This app promises to give you some pretty serious rewards, though at first I wasn’t sure what I had to do to earn them. But I’m all about side hustles, so this app got my attention for a number of reasons. But can you really make money with the WHAFF Rewards app?

This is what I was determined to find out as I downloaded it onto my phone and prepared to use it.

Making Money With The WHAFF Rewards App

But first, let’s just take a look at the vital stats. The app has been downloaded 10 million times, has a 4.4 star rating on Google Play, and is technically classified as a ‘shopping’ app.

There are over 650,000 reviews for the app on the Google Play store, which is pretty awesome. But, as we both know (if you have ever read my reviews before), a lot of positive reviews doesn’t necessarily add up to anything good. I have seen apps with more than 4 stars work pretty terribly.

But, what I will say is that apps with more than 3.5 stars are much more likely to be quality apps than those with 3.4 stars or lower. So, that is something that this app had going for it right from the beginning.

(I’ve also noticed that apps with over 200,000 downloads tend to perform better… and this app absolutely blew this number out of the water. So that was a good thing.)

This app originally got my attention for two reasons. First, the somewhat whacky name really caught my eye. And then, when I finally took a look at it, I was super-surprised to see this written right in the app description…

“Now we offer Bitcoin and Ethereum, the Best Rewards from WHAFF A Must-have app!”

First of all, I’m not sure if you’ve heard about all of the BitCoin stuff that has been in the news lately—but crypto currencies of all kinds have been blowing up in the media and online. They are all the rage, so that is something.

Secondly, I was a little bit weirded out by the way this was worded. It was missing some vital punctuation, which seemed odd to me.

I am not sure that I have seen too many apps with weird punctuation/grammar issues that ended up being good in the long run. But hey… I was still interested in an adventure, so I went ahead and downloaded WHAFF anyway.

Here is what I found.

Checking Out The WHAFF Rewards App For The First Time

After downloading WHAFF Rewards, I was greeted with what seemed to be the ‘main hub’ of the app. This consisted of an area of the app with screens that you could slide from side to side to select different categories.

This is a screenshot of the Premium Picks category… but there were also several more to choose from, including…

  1. Lockscreen Earning
  2. Other Picks
  3. WHAFF Picks
  4. Payout

There was also a menu screen available if you scrolled all the way to the left, which gave you even more options. Here, you could access things like Reward History, Payout Requests, Invite friends, and a FAQ.

I decided to take a look at the FAQ really quickly, as these tend to tell you a lot about the app that you’re using.

There were quite a few questions answered here. I clicked on the ‘What Is WHAFF?’ question, and got this….

Ok, if you read all the way through this, you will realize that the writer was probably not a native English speaker. I’m not dissing people who do not speak English as their primary language, because we all know that people who speak English plus another language are bi-lingual, and that is quite a feat to achieve (I am certainly not bi-lingual).

But, with that being said, I do feel like professionalism has to come into play somewhere, and to have poorly-written content on your app is still that… poor and unprofessional.

So yes. Once again, I was not very pleasantly surprised with the kind of written content I was seeing in the WHAFF app.

Anyway, with that aside, I figured out that the main purpose of this app was for users to complete offers to earn money.

The way you actually make money with WHAFF is with apps. And to make money on your phone, you generally have to do one of the following…

  1. Download/install a certain app
  2. Run or play certain apps every day
  3. Keep certain apps on your phone

To make it more clear, this app is making it easier for application companies to showcase their products, and they say that they act as a ‘bridge’ between the companies and their consumers. In essence, they are getting paid to showcase electronic apps, and are paying you a certain amount of what they are making to get you to try them.

This style of app isn’t unusual. Other examples include the apps GrabPoints, CashPirate and App Bounty.

I also learned that most ‘actions’ will earn you anywhere from $0.10 to $0.50 (according to the app FAQ).

Now, with that being said, I will say that the actual amount of money that you make from actions is not always at least $0.10. There were plenty of instances here where I saw actions that paid out amounts like $0.02, $0.01, $0.06, $0.03, etc. So yeah, these are pretty small amounts of money, to be fair.

It would certainly take a while to build up enough for a payout before you could actually get your hands on anything sizeable.

Can you make money with WHAFF? Absolutely. Is it going to end up taking you a while? Yes, absolutely. In fact, this is the number-one thing that would keep me from classifying WHAFF as a side-hustle-worthy app.

What Kind Of Payouts Are Available On WHAFF Rewards?

You have options for all kinds of different payout methods on WHAFF, including gift cards to prominent companies like Google Play, XBOX, Steam, and more. You can also request a PayPal payout.

I think you can also get cryptocurrency payouts as well, though I will admit that I did not even create an account with this app, because I found out long before I got to that point that the app wasn’t going to work for me.

We were fine with the types of payouts available on WHAFF… just not everything you have to do to earn the money. Loading apps and games is not something that just takes a second or two.

It can take a minute or more to get an app up and running on your phone. And when you take into account that you are only getting pennies to do it, that does not seem like a very worthwhile use of your time.

My Personal Feelings About The WHAF Rewards App

I think that this app is cool in a few ways, but that I am not interested in it as a side-hustle. Here are my main pros and cons.

First of all, the app seems to perform well. It is also a cool place to find new games and other apps that you can use in your spare time and on your own schedule, both for fun and to earn a bit of extra cash.

If you love to download different games and give yourself something to do while waiting in line or killing boredom, then this app is definitely an app that you might want to take a look at, because it will help you to earn a little bit of cash while you play games, and that is cool!

I also like that it has so many different payout options, and that it rewards you not just for trying some apps, but also for keeping others installed on your phone and even just for opening them up every day.

As for the downsides… the biggest, by far, was the amount of money you make when you try out the different apps.

There is just not enough cash being paid out here to qualify this app as a side-hustle… and for that reason, I will probably not be using it any more.

It was fun to try, but it wasn’t what I was looking for. I want an app that will allow me to earn some serious cash. With how busy my life is, I would likely not even earn $10 a month on it.

But I would have to do a lot of ‘work’ every day to even come close to hoping for this… and time equals money when you’re hustling and trying to increase your cash reserves and spending capital.

So yeah. This app wasn’t terrible, but it was certainly not a side hustle. You should try this app if you want to play games, waste time having fun, and making a little extra spending cash in the process.

But if you really want to meet better financial goals and generate a side-hustle income, this app will leave you wanting.

The WHAFF Rewards App Review

Honestly, when you calculate the time spent trying to make money with apps, it rarely works out to be more than a few dollars per hour. Most of the time, you’ll only make a few dollars per month. Personally, I think my time is worth more than that!
